Mediix Recruitment is an Australian healthcare recruitment company currently looking for a confident, well-spoken and motivated Virtual Assistant to work closely with the Principal Recruitment Consultant across our allied health desk.
About the position
This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is proactive, organised and genuinely enjoys speaking with people. The role has strong potential to evolve over time, including additional responsibilities and performance-based bonuses for the right person.
You will be supporting recruitment across Australia, primarily working with physiotherapists, speech pathologists, podiatrists and occupational therapists.
What you will be doing:
• Speaking with candidates over the phone and screening suitability for roles
• Bulk emailing and candidate outreach
• Writing and sending candidate profiles to clients
• Assisting with management of permanent and locum candidates
• Coordinating interviews and follow-ups
• Formatting CVs
• CRM/database management
• General recruitment and administration support
• Working closely with the Principal Consultant on day-to-day recruitment activities
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
• Has excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Feels confident speaking with candidates and clients over the phone
• Is outgoing, personable and professional
• Can work independently and does not require constant supervision
• Takes feedback and guidance well
• Is organised, reliable and proactive
• Has strong attention to detail
• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Previous recruitment, sales, customer service or virtual assistant experience is highly regarded
