We are currently seeking a Junior Project Engineer for a major natural gas infrastructure project in Dunkirk, France.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and inform contractors about weekly site activities and planned works.
Support daily site coordination: follow-up of progress, management of interfaces, and reporting of delays or issues.
Participate in site walkdowns, inspections, and coordination meetings.
Ensure activities are carried out safely and in compliance with project specifications and HSE standards.
Assist in preparing and updating project documentation: meeting minutes, weekly reports, logs, trackers, and technical files.
Maintain and update schedules, progress trackers, permit lists, and other project tools.
Contribute to technical reporting, including daily/weekly construction updates.
Support punch list preparation and follow-up during execution and completion phases.
Communicate effectively with contractors, project teams, and supervisors to ensure smooth execution of works.
Gradually take on full site coordination responsibilities as the project evolves and once the project secretary is onboard.
PROFILE
Engineering degree (mechanical, industrial, construction, or equivalent).
1-3 years of experience on industrial or construction projects
Exposure to site activities, contractor coordination, or project engineering is an asset.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented.
Comfortable managing both technical and administrative tasks.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow into a coordination-focused role.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Fluent in English
