Junior Product Manager (all genders)

You work in Compatible Discovery — the area where suggestions turn into real interactions. 
Our goal is not only to show people compatible profiles, but also to support them in getting in touch with each other and building meaningful connections. 
In doing so, you shape key parts of the user experience: from selecting relevant suggestions to interactions such as likes, matches, and messages. 
You are part of an experienced Product Team and work closely with experienced Product Managers. You take ownership of your own areas of responsibility, while always being able to rely on sparring and support. 

Please note that this position is a parental leave cover and is therefore limited to a fixed term of 2 years.

Minimum Qualifications  

• Initial relevant experience in product management or product-related roles (e.g. Growth, Analytics, Consulting) 
• High initiative and the ability to learn: you proactively drive topics forward and quickly familiarize yourself with new problem spaces 
• Ability to work independently on structured problems and derive initial hypotheses 
• Solid understanding of digital products and user behavior, ideally in a B2C environment 
• Analytical thinking and confidence in using data to support decision-making 
• Clear and structured communication within the team and with stakeholders 
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken 

Preferred Qualifications

• Initial practical experience with discovery (e.g. user feedback, hypothesis development, simple experiments) 
• Experience with A/B testing or data-driven product development 
• Interest in, or initial experience with, using AI tools to support product work 
• Basic technical understanding (e.g. APIs, tracking, data) 
• German skills are a plus

• You gradually take on responsibility for clearly defined product areas and develop them independently 
• You work as a Product Owner in a cross-functional team with Engineering, QA, and Design 
• You develop features that help users discover compatible profiles and initiate first interactions 
• You analyze how suggestions turn into real interactions (e.g. likes, matches, messages) and improve these in a targeted way 
• You derive hypotheses from data and user feedback and actively support discovery processes and experiments 
• You prioritize your backlog based on impact and learning potential 
• You work closely with stakeholders (e.g. Marketing, CRM, Brand) and ensure alignment 
• You gradually develop greater ownership of larger problem spaces
