Junior Platform Engineer – Developer Experience & AI (m/f/d)

 

As a Platform Engineer at SIXT, you'll be shaping the foundation that empowers our global engineering teams to move fast, stay confident, and build brilliant products. You'll craft tools, experiences, and services that supercharge developer productivity.  You’ll have end-to-end ownership, real impact, and the chance to make AI part of your daily engineering toolkit.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You will build seamless developer experiences on top of one of the most advanced internal developer platform in the industry
• You will create smart internal tools and automation that remove friction and help engineers ship faster and safer.
• You will design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance cloud platforms that developers love to use.
• You will partner closely with backend, mobile, web and data science teams to deeply understand their workflows—and supercharge them
• You will ideate and implement AI-powered solutions that take our internal developer platform  and experience to the next level

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• You have a taste for building automations and experiences that just work
• You have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in system engineering and building things at scale
• You are proficient in Golang & Python
• You have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Previous experience building AI agent powered workflows is a plus
• You have excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
