As a Junior Performance Marketing Manager / SEM, your work goes far beyond running standard Google Ads campaigns. You will operate in a tech-driven, cross-functional environment where engineers and data experts collaborate to build a cutting‑edge, automated performance marketing engine - pushing the limits of what traditional SEM can achieve.
You will take ownership in scaling and optimising our paid search and feed-based advertising setup, directly contributing to the next phase of growth for our talent marketplace.

In this role, you can earn an annual target salary between 40.000–55.000 €. Your personal development and promotion opportunities are also guaranteed with us, and you will benefit from cross‑channel learning opportunities within the wider performance marketing team.

🎯 How you can contribute to HeyJobs

• Drive strong performance through effective SEM campaign setup, optimisation, and strategic scaling, always guided by KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CVR, CPC and CTR.

• Conduct keyword research, account structuring, bidding strategy adjustments, and continuous ad copy and landing page testing to improve conversion metrics and cost efficiency.

• Contribute to our success by launching and evaluating A/B and multivariate tests with the goal of maximising ROAS and delivery performance.

• Collaborate with senior colleagues and the Martech team to improve campaign automation, feed quality, and machine‑learning‑driven optimisation processes.

• Actively support our AI‑native setup by leveraging LLMs, prompt workflows, and automation tools to enhance analysis, campaign creation, and optimisation scalability.

• Bring numbers to life by supporting ongoing and ad hoc performance reporting, identifying trends, uncovering insights, and connecting them to business outcomes.

• Support the implementation and maintenance of tracking requirements, ensuring the correct setup of conversion tracking, enhanced conversions, custom parameters, and feed signals.

🤝 What sets you up for success

• Strong analytical skills and data driven capabilities with a passion for problem-solving.

• Tech-savvy - ideally you've experimented with AI tools, scripts or web tracking and are eager to learn new tools and AI capabilities

• Comfortable using AI daily for prompting, QA, iteration, workflow automation, and analysis.

• Solid understanding of data structures and confidence working with large spreadsheets; familiarity with XML feeds or SQL is a big plus.

• Excellent communication skills - you can clearly explain complex performance concepts and confidently discuss KPIs and data with stakeholders; strong team players.

• Self-driven and motivated to create impact toward shared goals.

• Consistent, reliable, and comfortable taking full ownership of tasks from start to finish.

• Fluency in English is required; German is a big plus.

• Experience in performance marketing is preferred but not a must
