Job Description
SMX is seeking motivated Junior Technical Analysts for implementing, customizing, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Under direct supervision, develops software solutions to meet performance engineering needs, develops and utilizes automated and manual scripts and identifies system bottlenecks. This is a remote role with some travel supporting a Lackland, TX program.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
o Development and customization: Design and develop custom applications, reports, extensions, and workflows within Oracle EBS to meet business needs.
o System administration: support Database administrator in conducting upgrades and cloning environments, and ensuring system performance, stability, and data integrity.
o Integration: Build and maintain interfaces for data migration and integration with other feeder systems.
o Technical support: Provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
o Testing: Perform unit and system integration testing and debugging of RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) components.
o Documentation: Create and maintain technical design and process documents.
o Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Oracle technologies such as Oracle Forms, Oracle Workflow, XML Publisher, or Oracle Reports.
- Experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and Linux
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
- Financial IT system experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) technical development.

The proposed salary for this position is:
$73,100—$121,800 USD
