Junior Marketer - Cotton

• Marketing and selling of domestic and imported cotton directly to spinning mills located in Tamil Nadu
• Increase face to face customer interaction in Tamil Nadu by meeting spinning mills on a regular basis to exchange the views on textile market situation and get information on their business.
• Provide data on spinning mills profitability and fabric manufacturer's profitability, Provide regular feedback on yarn markets both domestic and exports.
• Conducting a comprehensive mill survey to find out mill's consumption data and deltas on regular basis.
• Manage and interact with agents in different regions of Tamil Nadu. Finding prospective agents and building business through them.
• Handling the Import sheet, sending import offers on daily basis
• Recording bidding on daily trade sheet to track conversion of business from bids
• Recording import commitment from Cybex & market info to know still how much mills can buy further based on BS number
• Maintaining an import bifurcation sheet, to find the proportion of various office sales
• Preparing weekly marketing meeting data required on various aspects
• Tracking basis and import parity on daily basis to know the trend
• Sending sales confirmation with desired terms and conditions.

• 1–3 years of experience in cotton marketing or related agricultural commodities.
• Exposure to trading, procurement, or marketing in cotton or other fibers preferred.
• English, Hindi

• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Basic understanding of cotton processing and supply chain.
• Familiarity with exports and international cotton markets is an advantage.
• Good analytical skills and ability to work with data.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic business tools.
• Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
