The Team & Role
We’re looking for a Junior iOS Engineer with a customer-first mindset to join our growing engineering team in Athens. Plum has been featured multiple times by Apple, named App of the Day, and currently holds a 4.6-star rating with over 53,000 reviews. You’ll be joining us at an exciting stage, helping shape the Plum experience on iOS and building a product that empowers people to be financially better off.

How We Work
At Plum, engineers are part of cross-functional squads made up of Product Managers, Designers, Backend and Mobile Engineers. Each squad is focused on a clear mission and aligned with one of our strategic business areas. We believe in data-informed decision-making, fast iterations, and teams that take full ownership of what they build.

As part of the Mobile Engineering team, you'll work closely with peers who are passionate about delivering exceptional mobile experiences, and building a top-tier app that users love and trust.

What You’ll Do

• Help build and improve our iOS app in Swift
• Collaborate closely with design and product to bring features to life
• Learn how to ship high-quality code in a fast-paced, iterative environment
• Contribute to a seamless and delightful user experience
• Take part in code reviews and grow your technical skills alongside experienced engineers
• Learn and apply best practices in iOS development and testing
• Understand the impact of your work and contribute to a product that truly helps people

What We’re Looking For
We’re not expecting years of experience — we’re looking for potential, drive, and a willingness to learn. You might be just starting out or have done some personal projects, internships, or had an entry-level role.

What to Expect from Our Hiring Process

At Plum, we value a lot the time you devote to the hiring process, this is why we are always trying to make the process as fast and smooth as possible.

• 30 min. Call with our Talent Acquisition Team. So we understand better your career plan, tell you more about Plum and the role. ⚙️
• 45 min. Call with our Engineering Lead. Brief technical discussion about the role and your skills. 🏄
• Task. You will be given a task for us to better to understand your skills. No hard deadlines! 🕹️
• Team Interviews
a. Call with two people from our iOS team. We'll go over the task and introduce you to your future colleagues and to get a glimpse of Plum's culture. 🧬
b. Call with a Product and Engineering Manager for you to understand the business and envision yourself as part of Plum.
