Role Overview:
As a Junior HR, you will be responsible for the full scope of HR activities in the Netherlands, based in our Amsterdam office while visiting the stores. This is a standalone role, meaning you will independently manage day-to-day HR operations while working closely with international stakeholders in the US and Israel.
You will play a key role in setting up, structuring, and professionalizing HR processes locally, while also supporting future international expansion. This position offers a unique opportunity to take ownership early in your HR career within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full employee lifecycle independently (onboarding, contracts, changes, offboarding, salary exs.)
Set up, maintain, and improve HR administration, systems, and personnel files in line with GDPR requirements
Coordinate and execute recruitment processes end-to-end
Act as the first point of contact for all employee HR-related questions
Manage absence registration and ensure compliance with Dutch regulations
Coordinate payroll input and liaise with external payroll providers
Ensure compliance with Dutch labour law and internal policies
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and templates where needed
Managing work visa applications and 30% ruling applications
Collaborate closely with stakeholders at the US and Israel head offices on HR-related matters
Support organizational growth and prepare HR processes for potential expansion into Germany and the UK
Initiate and support employee engagement and performance management processes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role (internships included)
Solid understanding of Dutch labour law
Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills/Fluent in English and Dutch (required)
Comfortable working in an international environment and across different time zones
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HR systems like Bamboo and Connecteam is a plus
