Junior Fullstack Engineer

As a Junior Fullstack Engineer at TOPdesk, you’ll work on the platform that supports thousands of users worldwide. Together with experienced engineers, you’ll build high-quality solutions using modern technologies. You’re eager to learn, communicative by nature, and excited about solving technical challenges in a team that values collaboration and craftsmanship.

What are you going to do as a Junior Fullstack Engineer?

You’ll join a team of senior engineers working on the underlying TOPdesk platform. From day one, you’ll be part of a collaborative environment where pair programming and knowledge sharing are part of your daily routine.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and improving our platform using Java and TypeScript
• Working closely with senior engineers
• Contributing to technical discussions and solution design

• Staying up to date with the latest developments in frontend and backend technologies

Where will you end up?

In our cozy Tilburg office! You’ll become part of Team Rex, a team focused on further developing our frontend platform. We work with both Java and TypeScript, combining modern backend and frontend technologies. We love exploring new browser APIs and continuously improving our technical foundation.

You’ll collaborate closely with senior colleagues in regular pair programming sessions. The team sets high standards for software quality, while keeping the atmosphere friendly, supportive, and down-to-earth.

• You have at least 2-4 years of experience as (fullstack) software engineer.
• You’re proficient in Java and Typescript, and of course in English.
• Broad interest in technology and a strong willingness to learn.
• A BSc in Computer Science (or similar).
• You have experience working in a Scrum team.
• Experience with Vue, Nginx and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
