Junior Financial Accountant

The Junior Financial Accountant supports the daily financial operations of the International F&A department, contributing to the seamless functioning of the accounting processes for all company entities.

· Support the booking of AP/AR invoices and financial statements

· Review aging reports and cash collection

· Prepare payments in the bank system

· Prepare the monthly & quarterly BS accounts review

· Support VAT declaration forms, other tax payments, VIES declarations, etc.

· Act as the main point of contact for vendors and other internal and external stakeholders

· Support the Financial Accountant on the GL accounting processes

· Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing

· Assist with the posting of basic journal entries and maintaining financial records.

· Prepare and update vendor and client reconciliations.

· Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal reviews.

· Collaborate with internal teams (AP, AR, GL) to resolve day-to-day accounting queries.

Requirements:
· 0-2 years of experience in the same or a similar role

· Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

· Hands-on experience with accounting software and MS Office. Knowledge of SAP is considered an asset

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

· Very good understanding of accounting principles and practices

· Excellent use of English, both written and verbal

· Good command of French is desirable

· Knowledge of IAS/ IFRS will be considered a plus
