As a Junior Finance & Controlling professional, you will be part of the finance team and report directly to the Finance & Admin Manager Iberia. We are looking for a driven and analytical junior with a strong interest in both Finance and Controlling, who is also willing to take on operational tasks such as invoice input and bank transactions. This will give you full insight into all financial processes and provide a broad foundation for further growth.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You contribute to the design, implementation, and optimisation of financial processes, reporting, and tools (SAP S/4 HANA go-live in 2024)
You support the monthly and annual closing process (inventory valuation, CAPEX, analytical accounting, preparation of annual accounts, tax filings).
You assist the business controller with periodic reporting such as group reporting, cost price calculations, margin reporting.
You verify and analyse financial and non-financial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
You help set up and process KPIs for management reporting purposes.
You will also support the accounting team lead with analyses and controls.
YOUR PROFILE
You hold a master’s degree in an economic field.
A first relevant work experience is an asset, but not a must. We offer the necessary internal/external training.
You are able to process large amounts of data quickly and accurately.
You have strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
You work proactively and in a structured way, and you can easily adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
You feel at home in a work environment with short communication lines, room for initiative, and a hands-on mentality.
You are a systems thinker who makes optimal use of available systems and takes an active role in further implementation and optimisation projects.
You are fluent in Spanish and good in English.
