We are looking for a Junior Backend Engineer with hands-on experience in Go (Golang) to join a growing engineering team. The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable backend services with an emphasis on event-driven and streaming architectures.
Role Overview
As a Junior Go Engineer, you will work on backend systems that power core platform capabilities. You’ll collaborate closely with senior engineers to develop reliable, high-performance services while learning best practices in distributed systems.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain backend services using Go (Golang)
• Build and support event-driven / streaming systems using tools like Kafka or Pub/Sub
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested backend code
• Participate in system design discussions and code reviews
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize backend services
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong fundamentals in Go (Golang)
• Understanding of backend development concepts and RESTful APIs
• Exposure to Kafka, streaming platforms, Pub/Sub, or event-driven systems
• Familiarity with databases, data structures, and basic system design
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
