As part of its development Volton strengthens its human resources in Athens or Heraklion Crete and seeks a Junior Energy Supply Specialist.
Responsibilities
• Purchase electricity and natural gas in wholesale market in order to cover customers’ needs
• Identify of best company strategies aiming to the minimization of wholesale market cost
• Company supply cost budget formulation
• Develop of low and medium voltage load forecasting tools
• End customers cost analysis and pricing
• Follow-up of current Greek and European energy legislation and regulation, ensuring company’s compliance
• Handle and validate of incoming supply charges data and settlements
• Cost of purchased electricity and natural gas analysis & reporting
• Develop necessary tools for supply reasons
• Participate in Hellenic Energy Exchange (HEnEx) energy markets
Requirements:
• Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor in Natural Sciences or Mathematics
• Master’s degree in Energy or Finance will be considered an asset
• This is an entry level position, any professional experience in energy sector companies is a plus
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office)
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (SQL, VBA, Python, R, MATLAB)
• Fluency in English, both oral and written

• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
