We are looking for a Junior Editor to join our EA Studios team who has a passion for creating shorter-form sports content that resonates with Gen Z audiences.
Our ideal candidate is passionate about forging a career as an Editor, understands social media content techniques, and can create both reels and longer YouTube-style content.
Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and the wider Creative Cloud is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Crafting and editing a range of content from both shoots and archive content.
Understanding the technical requirements for editing on Adobe Premiere Pro and the wider Creative Cloud.
Preparing edit projects in advance for producers & editors, including rough cutting.
Assisting producers & editors through all stages of post-production
Working closely with edit support & media management teams
Working with proxy file workflow and cloud-based workflows, in particular, Lucid Link
Keeping abreast of developments and trends in social media and creator content, and make suggestions for how we can implement it in our output.
Ensuring that the output complies with Whisper’s editorial, technical, design and accessibility standards, whilst always working to the company’s Health and Safety policy
Upholding the reputation of the company by embodying the ethos of Whisper

Skills and Experience:
Comprehensive knowledge & demonstrable experience of using Adobe Premiere Pro and working on a production throughout all stages of post-production from offline to final post
Ability to use After Effects (Mac-based) would be beneficial
Passion for creativity and visual storytelling, and ambition to work as part of the team to suggest new ideas and designs
Understanding of the technical specifications, creative and editorial requirements for delivering output directly for social media and broadcast outputs.
Understanding of media management, requesting, and ingesting of content, as well as broadcast delivery specifications and codecs
Ability to understand a brief from the internal production team and external clients
Ability to work independently as well as alongside an Edit Producer & editors, and to amend projects started by other editors
A demonstrable level of creativity with the ability to bring a fresh new approach to creating engaging and evolving output
Knowledge and enthusiasm for sport and eSports are desirable

Kew, London
Working Days:
5-day week, all office-based
You will be expected to work with the team to plan a schedule based on production requirements.
Lieu days will be given for any days worked over a five-day work week.
Whisper offers the option of flexitime hours, subject to production requirements.
