Junior Drainage Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and plan drainage systems for various projects.
• Conduct research and analysis of drainage systems to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate drainage systems into project designs.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met for drainage construction.
• Develop project schedules and budgets for drainage systems.
• Participate in project meetings to report progress and provide technical support.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and contractors.
• Independently evaluates, selects, and applies engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for continuous and single-event rainfall modeling.
• Analysis of basins, hydrographs, development and routing of maximum discharges.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in drainage engineering.
• Pavement drainage, culverts, storm systems, pump stations, bridge sizing, sediment transport, revetment design, and coastal considerations for highway drainage.
• Software expertise includes: HEC-RAS, Q-GIS.
• Experience with international codes desirable (AASHTO, DOT).
• B1 English
