JOB OVERVIEW:

On behalf of Alchemy Markets, we are looking to hire a Junior Corporate Lawyer to join the Legal team in Limassol office!

The job role requires maintaining accurate and up-to-date corporate governance records for the organization, including board and committee minutes, resolutions, charters, bylaws and corporate filings. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting the Legal or Corporate Secretary's office, while ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements, managing documentation for board and shareholder meetings and facilitating regulatory audits or corporate transactions.

We are looking to hire a Lawyer to join our international team of talented individuals.

As a Lawyer, you will be a part of the team focusing on ensuring that our company adheres to legal standards and requirements.

Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, ensuring that terms are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.

Assist in the handling of disputes and legal issues, including negotiation, mediation, and arbitration, to achieve favorable outcomes.

Conduct legal research to stay informed about new laws, regulations, and legal precedents affecting the company or clients.

Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.

Ensure the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations, and suggest amendments if needed.

Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of issues, including corporate law, regulatory compliance, contract law, and employment law.

Work closely with various departments, including HR, Finance, and Operations, to ensure cohesive compliance and legal strategies.

Perform any other related duties, as may be required by the Management and/or the direct Supervisor.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Bachelor Degree in Law. A Master's Degree will be considered as an advantage.

Lawyer qualification from the Cyprus Bar Association.

Excellent knowledge with practicing law, with significant experience in compliance within the FinTech Industry.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.

Strong understanding of legal and regulatory compliance requirements of the industry.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and high ethical standards.
