Junior C++ Software Engineer (Telecom, with RAN knowledge) – Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Junior C++ RAN Telecom Software Engineer who wants to be part of Tieto Tech Consulting. In this role you will support the development and maintenance of software features, closely work with more experienced engineers, learning how to follow technical specifications, processes and best practices used in the team.

You will prepare implementation and test, create and update technical documentation related to new features and updates to existing functionality, participate in fault analysis, investigate issues, review logs and apply basic troubleshooting techniques.

 

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of C++ (C++14, C++17)

• Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines

• Proficiency with version control systems (Git, Gerrit)

• Experience using build automation tools such as CMake

• Experience with Python for automation and test scripting

 

Nice to have:

• BSc/MSc/PhD in Telecommunications, or Computer Science

• Knowledge of radio networks

• Experience in embedded systems development

• Understanding of 3GPP specifications

• Practical experience using protocol and network analyzers

• Strong analytical and debugging skills

• Willingness to learn quickly

• Creativity and problem-solving skills

• English proficiency: Upper-Intermediate or higher
