Your role and the team

As a Junior Controller you have an important role in the profitability and financial analysis for the business operations of the company. With your reports, information and analysis you provide Management the right tools for decision-making processes. The Junior Business Controller is mainly working on the monthly reporting and analysis of internal and HQ requested information. Besides all that, you work close with the accounting department to ensure solid month-end processes. The Junior Business Controller will report directly to the Head of Controlling Leasing. You are

A Controller with a minimum of 1-3 years' work experience in a similar role. In this period, you have built up good skills with regard to reporting and financial- and profitability analysis. A result-oriented and accurate professional with good organizational and planning skills who is capable of working independently as well as in (project) teams.

What do we expect from you

• Support in critical areas such as Monthly Closing, Planning, Forecasting and Profitability analysis;
• Provide timely and accurate delivery of month end reporting (internal and corporate);
• Support during the Budgeting processes, communicating with other departments and ensuring timely, accurate and complete drafting of budgets, budget analysis, rolling forecasts and reporting to Management and HQ.
• Provide support on internal and external business cases;
• Working close to the Accounting team, ensure solid month-end closing, guaranteeing early communication of events that may affect in a significant way the financial statements of the unit;
• On a monthly basis, perform accurate, timely and complete reports required by the Management and from HQ, ensuring quality and qualitative analysis (for Netherlands, Benelux and Conso level);
• Lead continuous improvement of Internal and Corporate Reporting, driving additional automation in monthly reporting cycle;
• Produce Analytical Accounting and other profitability reports;
• Ensure compliance and implementation of Corporate policies, processes and tools;
• Participate in Company projects related to information systems and perform follow-up of the development of projects within the Company;

You have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree;
• The skills to communicate properly with stakeholders in the company (informal and presentations) and have an attitude of focusing on the results;
• Good command of English (spoken and written) is essential, good command of Dutch (spoken and written) is preferred;
• The ability to identify bottlenecks and take the initiative to improve processes.
• Knowledge of credit products, lease products and components is a clear advantage;
• Good command of Microsoft Excel;
• Knowledge of SQL, PowerBI is an advantage.
