Junior Backend Engineer, Quick Commerce

We are on the lookout for talented, Junior Backend Engineer to join our 2026 Tech Grad Program, on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

 

Our Tech Grad Program offers you a unique environment for you to learn and develop your skills, and to contribute to the development of our cutting-edge tech solutions. You will have some of the most talented and experienced software engineers in the industry as mentors to help you ramp up, and a support group you can go to for help and connection.

 

As part of the Delivery Hero Group, Glovo is the fastest-growing multi-category app in Spain, connecting millions of users with businesses, and couriers, offering on-demand services from more than 170,000 local restaurants, grocers and supermarkets, and high street retail stores, operating in more than 1500 cities across 25 countries. What you need to be Successful

 

To be eligible for our program, you must:

• Have the right to live and work in Spain 

• Candidates within the EU are also eligible to apply as long as you meet the above criteria

• Have (or be graduating from) a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science or a related field

• If graduated, you may also have a maximum of 2 years of experience in similar job fields

• Coding bootcamp graduates (recent/upcoming) are also eligible to apply and do not need to meet the degree requirement above; please apply if you have a minimum of 6-12 months’ internship/bootcamp experience

• Have a good understanding of and direct experience with coding in relevant languages and technologies (see below), ideally from internships, bootcamps, or open-source projects

• Be an analytical thinker and strong problem solver with a humble, inquisitive approach

• Have good communication and collaboration skills

• Be business fluent in English

• Be excited about working in a fast-moving, agile company where we learn from our mistakes

 

Technical skills we look for:

• Backend: Python, Java, Golang
