Junior Azure Network and Landing Zone Engineer

A Junior Azure Network and Landing Zone Engineer is responsible for implementing networking and infrastructure technical requirements in Azure. In this role, you will support the design and management of our cloud network infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Azure Resource Manager. Your work will contribute to ensuring high availability, resilience, and best practice adherence in the Public Cloud.

As a Junior Azure Network and Landing Zone Engineer, you will join Santander Digital Services in Mexico as part of a Global Team. You will support essential maintenance tasks, such as applying patches to Azure networks, while promoting the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. You are friendly and eager to dive into any problem thrown your way. You will be technically sharp, get technical concepts at their core, and go beyond comfortable “same old solutions.”

If you have 1 or more years of IT experience in a heavily regulated industry, and 1+ years of experience with Azure Networking from design to implementation, we'd love to hear from you. We are looking for a self-starter that is willing to handle all types of tasks with a positive attitude and minimum handholding.

Key Responsibilities

Transform technical requirements in ServiceNow to Azure activities to manage Networking resources by using IaC in Terraform and Python as well as ensuring the resilience of Cloud Networks and performing maintenance activities for Azure Networking like Patching.

Technical Involvement

• Manage Infrastructure as Code by Using Terraform
• Deploy IaC by using CI/CD tools and Github repositories
• Interact in a daily basis with people in Mexico, Brazil and Spain

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science of related degree
• 1+ years of Hands-on experience with Azure
• Proven experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge in Azure Networking services and solutions

• Spanish native competence
• English Conversational competence in technical settings
• English read and written competence in technical settings
