Junior Azure Cloud Engineer is responsible for supporting and implementing technical infrastructure requirements in Azure Cloud Infrastructure. In this role, you will support the development, testing, and implementation of cloud resources by using Infrastructure as Code. You’ll follow best practices to meet the customer’s requirements. This role involves interaction with the client and coordination with different functional areas.

As a Junior Azure Cloud Engineer, you will join Santander Digital Services in Mexico as part of a Global Team. You will be responsible for the creation and definition of scripts to develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The services you support will be stable, secure, and performant. You are friendly and eager to dive into any problem thrown your way. You will be technically sharp, get technical concepts at their core, and go beyond comfortable “same old solutions.”

If you have 1 or more years of IT experience in a heavily regulated industry, and 1+ years of experience with Azure from design to implementation, we'd love to hear from you. We are looking for a self-starter that is willing to handle all types of tasks with a positive attitude and minimum handholding.

Key Responsibilities

Transform technical requirements in ServiceNow to Azure activities and manage IaC in Azure by using Terraform, versioning the code in Github and deploying the Terraform plan by using CI/CD tools.

Technical Involvement

· Manage Infrastructure as Code by Using Terraform

· Deploys IaC by using CI/CD tools and Github repositories

· Interacts in a daily basis with people in Mexico, Brazil and Spain

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science related degree

· 1+ years of Hands-on experience with Azure

· Proven experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
