Responsibilities:
• Incident Management & Triage:
• Monitor application health and performance using monitoring tools.
• Receive and analyze incident tickets, categorizing and prioritizing as appropriate.
• Escalate complex or high-priority issues to senior engineers or development teams with clear, concise information.
• Routine Maintenance & Operational Tasks:
• Perform routine checks and health validations of applications and their underlying infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Assist with application deployments and configuration changes following established protocols.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
• Follow runbooks and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to resolve recurring incidents.
• Collaborate with development, applications, and network operations teams to investigate and resolve issues.
• Participate in post-incident reviews to help analyze and prevent future incidents.
• Knowledge & Skill Development:
• Engage in training activities and self-study to build foundational technical knowledge.
• Contribute to internal knowledge base articles and documentation.
• Stay informed on new technologies and trends relevant to telecommunications and cloud computing.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (completed).
• Understanding of programming language concepts for Fullstack applications (Java and Angular).
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL database variations.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Nice to Have:
• Understanding of containerization concepts (Kubernetes).
• Understanding of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or similar).
• Understanding of automation concepts (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
