💡 About the Role
TransPerfect is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior AI Logistics Assistant to support day-to-day operations in our Barcelona team. This is a perfect opportunity for a junior professional looking to gain hands-on experience in logistics, operations, and supplier coordination.
The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes—proving support across multiple operational areas, contributing towards the successful execution of timely shipments, accurate data reporting, accounting, general administration and cross-departmental coordination within our AI team – one of our fastest-growing departments across the company on a global scale.
🛠️ What you´ll be doing
Think of this role as the operational backbone of the team. You will:
• Support daily coordination of shipments with suppliers and handle general logistics tasks (shipping label creation, follow-ups, etc.).
• Assist in tracking and reviewing shipping invoices with external logistics vendors (e.g., FedEx, UPS) to ensure accuracy.
• Update and maintain weekly invoice trackers to support billing processes.
• Meticulously organize and update important documentation in SharePoint, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Administrative duties such as filing, scanning and preparing documentation, ensuring a clear paper trail at all times for efficient record-keeping.
• Help with inventory management and quality control checks for hardware and digital material assigned to employees.
• Assist with general office operations such as access cards and general supplies.
• Provide administrative support during team meetings, including note-taking and follow-up on action items.
• Contribute to workspace planning and reporting.
• Complete any other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor.
