General Responsibility
The Accounts Officer is responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and processing of receipts against outstanding sales invoices, payments, and related financial transactions. This includes reconciling bank accounts and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The position also involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting needs.
Reporting to
The Accounts Officer will report directly to the Accounts Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
Payment Processing: Prepare and process receipts against outstanding sales invoices.
Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain organized and accurate records of accounts payable transactions, including invoices, payment records, and vendor contracts.
Bank Account Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of recorded transactions, identifying discrepancies and resolving them promptly.
Direct communication with clients and other Trident Group Offices mainly Trident Hong Kong and Trident BVI
Skills & Knowledge
Degree in a business-related field or experience in the Corporate or Fiduciary Services Industry
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.
Ability to analyse and interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
Ability to work under pressure, work independently and to be organized
Ability to maintain a professional, positive and enthusiastic attitude when dealing with clients and colleagues. Readiness to respond positively to instructions and procedures
Ability to multi-task and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team and adhere to the organization’s rules
Fluency in English Language (Both verbal and written)
