Honeycomb purchases and processes catalytic converters to recover and refine PGMs (platinum group metals).

As the Junior Accounting Analyst at Honeycomb, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability of financial data within the organization. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure that processes are followed and adhered to. You will serve as a technical resource within the team and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting practices.
What you’re responsible for:
• Enter financial data: sales, purchases, expenses, and other routine transactions. 
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account monitoring. 
• Reconcile and manage corporate credit cards. 
• Prepare client invoicing, follow up on payments, and issue reminders as needed. 
• Monitor accounts payable and follow up on outstanding balances. 
• Prepare GST/QST returns and other tax obligations. 
• Manage payroll and group insurance entries. 
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. 
• Collaborate with other finance team members to ensure accurate and high-quality data. 
• Participate in improving accounting processes and implementing internal controls. 
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. 
• Perform any other related tasks.

• You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• You have 2 years of accounting experience.
• You have knowledge of the entire accounting cycle. 
• You have a commitment to excellence, autonomy and initiative. 
• You have strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• You have the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. 
• You have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. 
• You are bilingual in French and English.
