Junior Accountant - Cyprus

XS is a licensed and fast-growing multi-asset CFD broker. We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team of experts in Cyprus, Limassol.

Responsibilities:

Daily update of the accounting records for the group of Companies.

Verify the accuracy of data and data processing of accounting and bookkeeping related information.

Execute and record payment/bank transactions and ensuring they are accurately reflected in the accounting records.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and principles.

Maintain good communication with both internal and external parties.

Preparation of VAT returns.

Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field will be considered as an advantage.

Previous experience in the Financial, Banking or FX industry will be considered as an advantage.

Knowledge of SAP accounting software will be considered as an advantage.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS Excel.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
