LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a JTAC Instructor to support MQ-9 Aircrew Training operations.
Location: Creech AFB, NV
Job Description:
The JTAC Instructor provides expert-level instruction and training support for MQ-9 Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) aircrew. This role supports Initial Qualification Training (IQT), Mission Qualification Training (MQT), Continuation Training (CT), and advanced integration events. Instruction is delivered in classroom, simulator, and live-range environments. The JTAC Instructor ensures alignment with applicable Air Force syllabi, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide formal classroom and simulator instruction on CAS, ISR integration, and joint fires procedures.
Emulate JTAC and ground force roles during simulator and live-range events.
Develop and deliver academic briefings aligned with training syllabi.
Support scenario development and execution for qualification and continuation training.
Provide detailed mission debrief and performance feedback to aircrew.
Coordinate with training and scheduling offices for range and simulator support.
Maintain familiarity with applicable Air Force regulations and tactical publications.
Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Current or previously certified JTAC qualification (USAF, USMC, US Army, or USN equivalent).
Operational experience supporting CAS and ISR missions.
Experience integrating air and ground forces in tactical environments.
Strong instructional and briefing skills.
Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret eligibility preferred.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting MQ-9 or other RPA training operations.
Weapons School or advanced tactical integration experience.
Formal instructor experience in a military training environment.
