As a valued member of our engineering team, you will be based in our Manila office, working on projects across Asia Pacific.

Doka Philippines is currently looking for Junior Formwork Designer who is eager to grow, learn, and contribute to creating smarter, safer and more efficient formwork solutions.

 

Your key responsibilities:

• You will implement formwork solutions as per instructions and project requirements within a project team
• You will design special formwork in AutoCAD
• You will create formwork design for customer presentations
• You will propose the most economical and best technical solution
• You will conduct basic static calculations
• You will produce material list, offer drawings and shop drawings
• You will assist Sales Engineers with site visits and client presentation
• You will coordinate the timely delivery of shop drawings as per instructions
• You will coordinate with clients for technical issues
• You will coordinate with other involved departments
• You will consider the availability of material in the design stage

What you need to succeed in this role:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (civil or construction engineering),
• Minimum 1 years in Infrastructure / Civil Formwork Design

Skills: 

• Auto CAD and formwork knowledge
• Solid communication skills in English
• Team player with attention to detail and a feel for economic matters
• Eager to learn and improve knowledge and skills
• Shows adaptability and is open to change
• Understanding of our business model and cross-functional collaboration
• Basic product knowledge
