Jr. Estimator - Light Fixtures and Controls

RemoteVA PH is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Jr. Estimator who specializes in Light Fixtures and Controls to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of construction drawings, electrical plans, and lighting layouts. You will play a vital role in supporting our estimating department by preparing accurate takeoffs and assisting with bid preparation.

This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a desire to grow within the construction and electrical estimating field.

Key Responsibilities:

-Review and interpret construction drawings, including reflective ceiling, electrical, and lighting plans.

-Perform quantity takeoffs for light fixtures, controls, and related electrical components.

-Support the estimating team by preparing bid documentation and cost summaries.

-Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy.

-Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure project alignment.

-Maintain organized estimate records and ensure timely delivery of estimates.

Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:

-High-level knowledge of construction drawings and plan interpretation.

-Proven takeoff experience using electrical, lighting, or ceiling plans.

-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook required).

-Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).

-Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines.

-Experience using Togal.AI is a plus (training may be provided)
