Jr Cloud Security Engineer (R-00134)

Qualification Requirements:
• Assist in deploying and configuring virtual machines, storage (S3/Blob), and networking components (VPCs, subnets).

• Track system performance metrics using tools like AWS CloudWatch or Azure Monitor, ensuring high availability.

• Identify, document, and resolve minor technical issues or infrastructure errors.

• Write and maintain basic scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate routine tasks.

• Apply security best practices, such as managing user access, firewalls, and security groups.

• Work with developers and DevOps teams to support application deployment and CI/CD pipelines.

• Update technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.

Position Requirements:
• BA or BS degree, or at least 2-4 years of experience in related field

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with ability to influence and collaborate with leadership, peers, and team members

• Approved to work in the United States

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Some hands-on experience with cloud architecture/engineering, services, migration, and security to include FedRAMP IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings

• Experience with Cloud-based Computer Network Defense (CND)

• Experience with cloud automation and scripting (Auto-scale, Azure Resource management, Scripting, PowerShell)
