Job Description

MezTal is looking for a Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the finance operations of a U.S.-based client. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates in Accounting or Finance who want to begin building international professional experience while working with a U.S. team.

In this role, you will assist with accounts receivable activities, customer communication, and payment follow-ups while collaborating closely with the accounting team. You will also gain exposure to U.S. accounting processes and international business communication, making this a strong starting point for a career in accounting and finance.

The ideal candidate is confident communicating in English, proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the accounts receivable process, including follow-up with customers regarding outstanding invoices
• Communicate with clients via phone and email in English to resolve payment questions or discrepancies
• Assist with tracking outstanding balances and updating AR records
• Maintain clear documentation of customer payments and account status
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial records
• Provide support during month-end close activities related to AR
• Maintain professional communication with both internal teams and external clients
• Escalate payment issues or account concerns to senior team members when necessary


Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates are welcome)

• 0–1 year of experience in accounting, finance, customer service, or call center environments
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confidence handling phone calls with clients in English
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or collections
• U.S. Visa
