Position: Journeyperson Boilermakers – Fabrication Shop

We are seeking Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitters or Boilermakers (employees & DSPs) with experience, ideally within exchanger, fin fan, or maintenance scopes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform aerial cooler bundle retube work in a shop environment, including tube removal, extraction, cleaning, and reinstallation on air-cooled heat exchangers

• Complete tube rolling/expanding, bolt-up, torquing, and tensioning of cooler frame hardware to required specifications

• Support bundle pulling activities and assist with mechanical disassembly and reassembly of exchanger components

• Assist with tube leak detection, hydrotest preparation, and pressure-related work

• Read and interpret isometrics, GA drawings, and OEM specifications to ensure proper alignment and fit-up

• Perform basic rigging and controlled lifts in accordance with safe work practices

• Operate tools and equipment safely while maintaining a clean and organized work environment

• Follow all safety policies and work independently or within a team to meet shop production schedules

Qualifications

We are specifically seeking shop-based tradespeople with exchanger and fin fan experience.

Strong preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in:

• Journeyperson or Apprentice trade certification (Pipefitter or Boilermaker)

• Fin fan retube work
• Heat exchanger maintenance and repair
• Bundle pulling and tube replacement scopes
• Tube rolling / expansion
• Steel pipe fabrication and fit-up
• General shop fabrication work
• Mechanical disassembly / reassembly
• Reading and interpreting ISO and fabrication drawings
• Working within shop production schedules and deadlines

Preferred Assets

• Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
• Fall Protection
• Confined Space
• First Aid
• Experience with hydrotesting and leak detection
