Job Description

Journeyperson Carpenter

We are currently seeking an experienced Journeyperson Carpenter with a strong work ethic, the desire to be part of a team, and the skills to assist in the construction of projects in the Saskatoon region.

Reporting to the Site Foreman, the Carpenter selected will be responsible for the completion of carpentry work and quality management, ensuring the compliance with project specifications and company safety policy.

Responsibilities

Adherence to job specs and corporate safety requirements on all sites

Building concrete forms

Removing concrete forms

Report issues as they arise to the Site Foreman

Proficient knowledge and use of power tools

Mentor novice workers

Other tasks as required by the site foreman

Requirements

Experience in building concrete forms

Knowledge of building code and safety code requirements

Be organized, interpersonal and strong communicator with the ability to build excellent relationships with subtrades and workers on site

Candidate must have excellent time management skills, have the ability to prioritize work and be results driven

Exceptional attention to detail and strong understanding of quality standards
