Journeyman Diesel Mechanic

Premier Service is a family-owned landscape construction and maintenance company that has been operating since the late 1980s. We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Mechanic to join our growing shop and support our expanding fleet.
This role is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on company trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment to ensure minimal downtime and safe operation for our crews.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on trucks and equipment
Perform routine maintenance and preventative service
Complete repair orders and document work performed
Maintain a clean and safe shop environment
Follow company safety policies and procedures
Fleet & Equipment
You will work on a variety of equipment including:
Kenworth T-800
Kenworth T-270
Ford F-750
Ford F-350
Chevrolet LCF
Isuzu NPR / NRR
Front End Loaders
Bobcat Skid Steers
Tractor trailers
Light-duty trucks and SUVs
Qualifications
5+ years of mechanic experience
Journeyman level mechanic
ASE certification preferred
CDL-A preferred (not required)
Ability to pass background and MVR check
No DUI or drug convictions in the last 5 years
Must provide basic hand tools
Ability to lift 75+ lbs
