POSITION OVERVIEW:

LOOKING FOR A JOURNEMAN MECHANIC TO JOIN A RAPIDLY GROWING SHOP, SUPPORTING AN EXPANDING, HIGHLY RESPECTED ORGANIZATION.

This position perform necessary maintenance and repair task on various semis, tractor trailers, loaders, skid steers, mid-size truck fleet to ensure optimal usage, minimal down time and safety for our workers.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

Safely performing assigned tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures

Accurately completing repair orders and keeping notes on repair orders to document repairs

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Typical work involves general maintenance and repairs on:

Kenworth T-800’s

Kenworth T-270’s

Ford 750’s

Ford 350's

Chevrolet LCF 

Isuzu NPR/NRR

Front End Loaders.

Bobcat skid steers

Various types of tractor trailers

Light trucks, SUVs etc...

Job Qualifications:

5+ years of related experience

Journeyman level along with ASE certification

CDL-A preferred, but not required.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check test and MVR check

Must not have any DUI or Drug Convictions in the last five years

Ability to provide your own basic hand tools

Effective oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to read technical manuals.

Must be able to effectively read, write & understand verbal instructions in English

Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position (lifting up to 75+ lbs., bending, climbing, standing for duration of shift, etc.)
