The Journeyman Electrician will install, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical systems, including electrical panels, lighting, motor controls, and conveyor systems in Industrial Water/Wastewater and Oil & Gas. In addition, this position will be familiar with installing power supply wiring and troubleshooting types of electrical components in Industrial settings.

What you will be Doing:
Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on small oil and gas construction projects such as well pads, compressor stations, and pump jacks
Bend, thread, and install various types of conduit (EMT, Rigid, PVC-coated) in accordance with project specifications and NEC standards
Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure safe and timely project execution
Respond promptly to service calls and execute repairs or adjustments based on field conditions
Participate in commissioning and startup of systems on smaller oil and gas construction projects
Coordinate with procurement or material handling for field parts and supplies
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure installations are performed to code and client standards
Perform routine maintenance and upgrades in operating facilities
Support the integration and wiring of PLCs and VFDs
Install and terminate motor starters, control panels, transformers, lighting systems, and instrumentation devices
Your Skills and Qualifications:
Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License
Electrical lineman experience is required
Valid Driver’s license
5+ years’ experience as an electrician; extensive experience in Industrial Settings such as, Water/Wastewater and Oil & Gas.
Hands-on experience with small construction projects, including new well pad builds or facility upgrades
Experience with leading construction projects
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and follow specifications
Ability to work independently
Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems

Bend and Install Rigid conduit
Understanding of Instrumentation devices
Motor terminations
Ability to work independently
Customer service skills
