Our current project, Home at Maricopa, is a 536 Unit Multi-family community with 6 apartment buildings and a clubhouse on 18.8 acres in the City of Maricopa. The apartment buildings are 4 and 5 story concrete and steel construction buildings. The clubhouse is a single-story wood framed building.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician.
Experienced in new construction - Commercial/Multi-family
Experienced in underground electrical.
Experienced with installation and connecting electrical systems including wiring, switches, outlets, lights, fixtures, circuit breakers and other electrical components.
Knowledge and compliance with NEC codes.
Able to read and interpret plans.
Ensure that all electrical work is performed in a safe, efficient, and professional manner and that all work areas are left clean and tidy after completion.
Mentoring and supervising electrician helpers, providing guidance and training as needed.
Reliable transportation to Maricopa, Arizona.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
5+ years of experience
Must have knowledge of the electrical industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to handle physical labor and strenuous tasks.
Regularly talk and/or hear.
Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
Occasionally required to but not limited to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, and stairs and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
Must be able to position oneself to work in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, attics, and tunnels.
Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move at least 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
Must be able to respond quickly to sounds.
Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations.
Must be able to safely climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.
Must be able to work in hot and cold environments and on concrete floors.
