Job Opportunity: Journeyperson Carpenter
Location: Alberta, Saskatchewan
Are you a skilled carpenter looking to bring your expertise to a supportive and dynamic team? We’re seeking a Journeyperson Carpenter to work on exciting construction projects, ensuring quality and safety are always top priorities.
What You’ll Do
Perform high-quality carpentry work on-site in alignment with project plans.
Collaborate with the construction team to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans to meet project specifications.
Maintain compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 5+ years in construction with a strong carpentry focus.
Certification: Journeyman Carpenter Ticket preferred. Valid safety certifications (First Aid, CSTS, WHMIS, Work Hub Orientation, etc.) and a valid driver’s license are assets.
Skills: Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety standards.
Characteristics:
Motivated and dependable with a strong work ethic.
Effective communicator and team player.
Organized and adaptable, ready to meet the demands of the job.
Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in outdoor conditions.

Working Conditions
This role requires working on construction sites, often outdoors in variable weather conditions. Applicants must be able to work long hours and weekends as needed and pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test if required by the client.

Pay: $38.50-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
