Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Service Delivery, EUTC, the Jordan’s Principle Project Administrator serves as the first point of contact for incoming inquiries and service requests. This role is responsible for intake, client support, call management, and administrative coordination to ensure efficient and culturally responsive service delivery for Jordan’s Principle clients.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and respond to incoming calls, emails, and referrals related to Jordan’s Principle services.
Conduct initial intake of client requests, gather relevant information, and direct files to appropriate team members.
Provide front-line support clients and families, ensuring a respectful, responsive, and culturally safe experience.
Maintain accurate and organized client records, databases, and filing systems.
Assist with general administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation.
Support coordination of client services by liaising with internal staff, service providers, and external stakeholders.
Monitor and track incoming requests to ensure timely follow-up and service delivery.
Assist with data entry, reporting, and file management for program tracking and funder requirements.
Support the team in preparing reports, summaries, and documentation as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of all client information in accordance with PHIA standards.
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Administrative Assistant Certificate, Office Administration Diploma, or related education is preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative or client service experience, preferably in a First Nation organization or social services environment.
Experience working with high-volume intake or call handling is an asset.
Strong understanding of First Nation communities, culture, and service needs.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
High level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with databases and client information systems is an asset.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
Knowledge of PHIA and confidentiality standards.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Fluency in a First Nations language is considered an asset.
Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and professional ethics.
Must provide a clear current criminal record check and child abuse check.
