Job Description
LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) – ISR Training Support to support MQ-9 Aircrew Training operations.
Location: Creech AFB, NV
Job Description:
The JTAC provides ground-based training support to MQ-9 pilots and sensor operators during live and simulated training missions. This role supports qualification and continuation training by performing as ground force role players, directing simulated CAS engagements, and integrating ISR assets during tactical scenarios.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform in the role of JTAC ground team during live and simulator missions.
Provide simulated target direction and battlefield air operations support.
Coordinate with range control and scheduling offices for mission execution.
Deliver training feedback during mission debriefs.
Support CSAR, convoy escort, and ISR exploitation scenarios.
Maintain knowledge of applicable Air Force TTPs and procedures.
Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Current or previously certified JTAC qualification.
Experience in CAS, ISR, and joint fires integration.
Experience operating tactical radios and battlefield communications systems.
Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret eligibility preferred.
Ability to operate in field environments and meet physical requirements.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting RPA or MQ-9 operations.
Experience with Distributed Mission Operations or simulator integration.
Prior instructor or evaluator experience.
