Job Title: Joint Orthopedic Surgeon (MD/DO)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Joint Orthopedic Surgeon to provide specialized care for patients with degenerative, traumatic, and inflammatory joint conditions. The surgeon will focus on hip and knee reconstruction and replacement, delivering high-quality surgical and non-surgical care in a patient-centered, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with joint disorders, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and joint injuries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using both operative and non-operative approaches.
• Perform joint preservation procedures and total or partial joint replacement surgeries, primarily involving the hip and knee.
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education and coordination of rehabilitation services.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, primary care providers, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage complications and revision cases as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and professional development.
Qualifications:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction or Joint Replacement preferred.
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Active medical license to practice in the state of employment.
• Strong surgical expertise, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
