Our primary focus is on carpentry and woodwork specialities across various projects and sectors through the delivery of sophisticated, qualified experts in their field and innovative techniques and equipment.
We are seeking a highly skilled Joinery Draughtsman who will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and specifications for joinery elements used in interior fit-out projects. You will work closely with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure that the joinery components meet the desired aesthetic and functional requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Technical Drawing:
• Create accurate and detailed technical drawings of joinery elements, including cabinets, doors, windows, and custom-made furniture.
Ensure that drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.
Prepare shop drawings for fabrication and installation.
• Design Coordination:
Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand the overall design concept and requirements.
Propose joinery solutions that align with the design vision and meet functional needs.
Coordinate with other trades involved in the project to ensure seamless integration of joinery elements.
• Material Selection:
Assist in selecting appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for joinery components.
Consider factors such as durability, aesthetics, and budget when making material choices.
• Quantity Takeoffs:
Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs for joinery materials and components.
Provide cost estimates for joinery work based on quantity takeoffs and material pricing.
• Site Visits:
Conduct site visits to verify measurements, review existing conditions, and address any issues related to joinery installation.
• Project Management:
Assist in project planning and scheduling, ensuring that joinery work is completed on time and within budget.
Monitor the progress of joinery fabrication and installation, resolving any issues that may arise.
