Job Description
Tri-City Electric Co. is currently seeking a Jobsite Safety Representative for an opening in Port Washington, WI. This role supports and strengthens project-level health and safety programs and plays a key part in promoting a strong safety culture, identifying hazards, ensuring OSHA compliance, and driving continuous improvement in jobsite safety performance on a large-scale, mission-critical construction project.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support the development, implementation, and improvement of project safety programs
Promote a positive safety culture among all jobsite personnel
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate workplace hazards
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
Conduct daily safety guidance, training sessions, and toolbox talks
Perform jobsite inspections and recommend corrective actions
Investigate incidents and document findings to prevent recurrence
Monitor contractor compliance with safety policies and procedures
Assist in risk assessments and loss prevention planning
Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
Approximately 7 years of construction safety experience
Current First Aid/CPR certification
One or more of the following safety certifications:
Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)
Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
Candidates must possess strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to identify hazards, enforce safety standards, and solve problems in a fast-paced construction environment. They must be self-motivated, organized, able to communicate effectively with field personnel, and capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
