In most companies, a Scrum Master just "protects the team." At our company, the Squad Leader protects the product. We aren't looking for someone to just host ceremonies; we need a driver who owns the delivery pipeline from start to finish.
As a Squad Leader, you are a hybrid powerhouse: the strategic oversight of a Product Owner, the technical rigor of a QA Lead, and the efficiency of an Agile Coach all in one. You are the final filter. If a feature is delayed or a bug is leaked, you are the one with the data and the plan to fix it.

What You Will Do
Own the Pipeline: Manage throughput, quality, and the "Definition of Done." You have the authority to halt or pivot work to ensure project health.
Shadow Product Owner: Refine stories and prioritize backlogs to ensure we build what the client actually needs.
Technical Gatekeeper: Audit output using your QA or Engineering background. Nothing passes you unless it meets the "Gold Standard."
Productivity Architect: Analyze DORA metrics (cycle times, lead times) to identify and crush friction.
GenAI Champion: Lead the squad into an AI-augmented future, using LLMs for automated testing, code reviews, and documentation.
Stakeholder Mastery: Be the face of the squad, speaking with technical authority to Tech Leads and business value to Project Managers.

The Squad Leader DNA
Technical Foundation: Degree in CS/Engineering or a strong background in Quality Assurance (QA). You understand the "how" and the "why."
The Manila Edge: Exceptional English skills and the ability to lead global stakeholders across time zones.
Agile Pragmatism: You know the Scrum Guide but are willing to break the rules to deliver results.
AI Native: You actively use GenAI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT) and can teach the squad how to integrate them.
Data-Driven: You turn raw Jira/ADO analytics into a compelling narrative for the client.
