[Job-29072] Senior Lead Product Designer, México City (Hybrid)

The person will need to count with availability to go to the client's office in Mexico City (Ciudad de México) approximately twice per month (which may vary depending on the client's needs, potentially increasing to once per week).

As an end-to-end Senior Lead Product Designer, your expertise will bring simplicity and delight to reduce friction, improve conversion, repeat purchase, and increase customer satisfaction in the D2C industry through continuous discovery, defined requirements, validation with real users, and implementation support.

You will be involved and lead your team in every step of the product design process—from planning, discovery and interaction design to visual execution. You will play a pivotal role in reimagining workflows, developing concepts, and crafting new interactions and components. You design for innovation by experimenting, testing and refining your products and process. You always measure success, and you speak in quantifiable terms about the impact of your work.

You are also an original thinker, an excellent design communicator and are able to effectively collaborate with clients at all levels.

Responsibilities:

- Work with the team to define product requirements with product manager, BA, business stakeholders, developers.
- Create wireframes, user flows, sitemaps, specifications, and other UX design deliverables
- Design intuitive interfaces through prototypes
- Leadership role - Owning the quality bar of the design team’s deliverables, help shape product strategy, define features and flows, influence roadmap decisions, manage client relationship from product design perspective.

Requirements:

- Advanced english
- Minimum of 5-7 years relevant industry work, with at least 2 years as a lead designer—guiding clients, projects and people.
- Your portfolio must demonstrate excellence in:
Experience in solving, designing and shipping successful digital products and services
Strong experience with Design best practices
Strong experience with Design Systems and documentation
Experience in designing thoughtful UX and defining strategy through cross-functional collaboration and alignment
Experience with research and testing, strategic planning, ideation.
- Strong problem-solving ability amidst complex challenges
- A strong communicator and collaborator, capable of balancing engineering, customer, and product considerations with user needs
- Bachelor’s degree with focus in these related areas of study: HCI, Interaction Design, Art Direction, or a design-focused qualification
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Mastery of Figma. We require strong familiarity with Figma and how to manage design systems, create well-thought-out interactions and think through responsive design
- Strong understanding of how to prompt for AI Prototyping. The team currently uses Figma Make and is always exploring current trending tools.
Open mind to process change especially as more AI agents become part of our optimization process.
