At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our team. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovative, transforming, and multicultural environment, ensuring software quality, reliability, and performance.

Position Overview:

As an SDET, you will play a critical role in designing and executing robust automated and manual testing strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between development and testing, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure quality is embedded from the early stages.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and scripts.

- Create and execute comprehensive test plans and scenarios across multiple applications and platforms.

- Implement performance, load, and stress testing to validate system stability and scalability.

- Collaborate within agile teams to define and evolve test strategies, standards, and QA best practices.

- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely and effective resolution.

- Analyze test results and quality trends, proposing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes.

- Conduct root cause analysis and support the leadership team in Quality Analysis across the Value Stream.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must-have Skills:

- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or SDET.

- Strong programming skills in at least one language (Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript).

- Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or JUnit).

- Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman or RestAssured).

- Advanced or fluent English communication skills.

Nice-to-have Skills:

- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
