Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to partner with our team. You will own the quality strategy for a modern cloud-native application during a critical transformation phase.

Your mission is ensure the stability of our current Google Cloud (GCP) environment (Java/React) while rigorously validating our migration to Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will move beyond manual testing to build automated safety nets that ensure zero regression as we shift infrastructure from Cloud Run to AWS.

Responsibilities
Migration Quality Assurance: Design "Parity Tests" to verify that microservices running on AWS behave identically to those on GCP (comparing API responses, latency, and database integrity).
Automated Testing Strategy: Architect and maintain an automation framework.
API Testing: Author and maintain comprehensive API test cases for our RESTful microservices.
Database Verification: Validate data integrity during the migration from GCP Cloud SQL (MySQL 8) to AWS RDS. You will create strategies to verify data consistency post-migration.
Performance & Load Testing: Execute performance tests to ensure the new AWS infrastructure handles load as efficiently as the GCP serverless environment.
Defect & Root Cause Analysis: Work directly with the Senior Fullstack Developers to isolate whether bugs are code-related (Java/React) or infrastructure-related (Terraform/Network/IAM).

Requirements
Advanced English skills Written and verbal.
Technical QA Experience: Proven experience as a Senior QA or SDET in a complex web application environment.
Java Ecosystem: Ability to read and understand Java code. You don't need to be a dev, but you need to know how to test Spring Boot applications and write tests in Java-based frameworks.
Frontend Automation: Experience automating React applications using modern tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
API Testing Mastery: Deep understanding of RESTful services, HTTP status codes, and JSON payloads.
Cloud Awareness: Familiarity with GCP and/or AWS.
CI/CD Pipelines: Experience configuring tests to run in pipelines (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline).
Database Skills: Ability to write complex SQL queries (MySQL) to validate test data and migration results.

Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience testing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Experience with Load Testing tools (k6, JMeter, or Gatling).
Experience with AI-assisted testing tools (using AI to generate test cases or analyze tests).
Previous experience validating a "Lift and Shift" or Cloud Migration project.
