Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Jira Administrator to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. The Jira Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, management, and support of the Jira platform, enabling seamless collaboration and project tracking across departments.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Jira administration, a strong understanding of Atlassian products, and the ability to implement and optimize workflows to enhance team productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and configure Jira (Cloud/Server/Data Center) and Jira Service Management projects.
• Manage Jira users, groups, permissions, and security schemes.
• Create, modify, and maintain workflows, custom fields, screens, and dashboards.
• Administer and support Confluence spaces, permissions, and content structure.
• Manage Jira add-ons and integrations to extend functionality and improve efficiency.
• Provide guidance and support to teams on best practices for using Jira and Confluence.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and implement upgrades or patches as required.
• Develop and deliver training materials, user guides, and documentation for Jira and Confluence users.
• Collaborate with IT, project management, and business teams to ensure Jira aligns with organizational needs.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Jira Administrator, including Jira Service Management.
• Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, schemes, fields, permissions, and project configurations.
• Experience with Jira add-ons/plugins and their administration.
• Proficient in Confluence administration and integration with Jira.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot system issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator (ACP-100 or ACP-600).
• Experience with scripting (e.g., Jira Automation, ScriptRunner).
• Experience in managing large-scale Jira instances.
