Javascript Node Developer opportunity in a high profile project for one of the most innovative fintech companies in the personal and business foreign exchange industry. This is an opportunity for a passionate and experienced Javascript Node Developer to join a 40 person technology team in London (there is also a 10 person team up in the north of England) and help build exciting new products! The environment offers the best of both worlds - a high energy startup culture with a test and learn mentality, but with the stability and opportunity for growth that comes from being a highly profitable company with a turnover of more than £1 billion!

The existing platforms have been growing organically alongside the business over the last ten years and are now being used by over 7000 customers globally and are in need of cutting edge design changes. The Javascript Node Developer will join one of the engineering teams in a fun, fast-moving, hardworking and exceptionally supportive team of 40 engineers, and gain experience in a profitable industry disrupter. This project is just the beginning, the company have acquired a banking licence in order to bring a groundbreaking new product to market. Simultaneously, they are re-platforming the core platform onto a modern application stack (PostgreSQL, Express, React, Node.js) and expanding the engineering capabilities rapidly, and this role is critical to their success.

• Building optimised, scalable microservices using Node.js
